With belt cane
March 3, 2021
At twenty months, before belt cane she was able to hold one hand and walk, needs some support for balance.

Reason for belt cane is her balance is what needs training due to a compromised vestibular system being both deaf and blind.

My daughter had been using a single cane, I believe that the safe toddles cane gives her a better understanding of what’s in front of her more than the single cane, having the two sides coming down.

She seems to need a little less assistance because she can feel that the floor is flat just ahead.
I really feel like this will give her a better sense of balance and a good step before using her single white cane.
