The aim of the study was to evaluate motor skill activity in children with an MVI/B before and after introduction of a Pediatric Belt Cane, using the Birth to 6 Orientation and Mobility Skills Inventory (B6OMSI) and coding motor skill activities in pre/post videos. By establishing a repeated pattern of improved walking after introducing a Pediatric Belt Cane across a diverse group of children born with an MVI/B, we have further supported the designation of safe mobility as a medical necessity to walk.
