The correct fit is critical to success.

Step 1: Using a measuring tape record the child's waist circumference and height to shoulder, and use a ruler to determine hip width.

Step 2: Compare measurements with standard sizing chart. The hip width and waist circumference must match. For example, a size 6 hip width will only match with waist circumferences 17, 18 or 19 inches.

Dual-Cane Starter Set

The complete starter set consists of one belt and two white canes. The standard cane is used most in environments with drop-offs or unfamiliar terrain. The specialty cane is shorter and is uniquely designed for indoor play in familiar, single-level floor plans (i.e., no drop offs).

Growth

The belt helps the child with an MVI/B to hold the white cane in place so that the child can always feel the path ahead. Instead of the child having to bend down to touch the surface, the cane tips send back the information to inform the child with an MVI/B about the path ahead.

About Size.

The size of the Pediatric Belt Cane is crucial for its effectiveness. An improper length or fit can hinder its function, making it essential for the belt cane to match the child's measurements precisely. This innovative device is not adjustable, ensuring that it provides the best support when fitted correctly. Research shows that proper sizing significantly enhances gait, pace, posture, and overall physical activity levels in children using the belt cane.
