Safe Toddles provided a complete measuring set of Pediatric Belt Canes to two schools in New York and, in addition, 14 Belt Canes to families identified by these two agencies. Dr. Ambrose-Zaken also provided one-on-one and group training sessions on using the tool. One use of the measuring set of Belt Canes is that it quickly identified the child's Belt Cane size for the children with a mobility visual impairment or blindness, and also provide families with correctly sized Belt Cane “loaners” as needed.
